Roxio MediaTicker

Image viewers are some of the most popular software solutions available out there and developers have found multiple ways to provide users with ingenious interfaces and tools for viewing images in a slideshow.

Roxio MediaTicker is a nice image viewer with a beautiful interface that allows you to adjust some settings and view pictures in a nice bar at the bottom of the screen.

The software solution takes almost no time to install, you won't need to complete a complicated setup before you can use Roxio MediaTicker. It opens a tray with sliding pictures at the bottom of the screen, it will completely cover your toolbar.

However, you can change the tray's position and place it on the left, right or top of the screen. The adjustments can be made in the settings menu, unfortunately you can't simply drag the tray to enlarge it or place it at the side of your screen.

It allows you to change the display mode, you can choose from scrolling or fade-in effect. The order of pictures can also be changed, together with the thumbnail size. Roxio MediaTicker can be set to start when Windows launches, so that you'll be able to see your images when you turn on the PC.

The slideshow stops when the cursor is on an image and it comes with some picture options. Set images as wallpapers, print, attach them to an email or access the image location.

The settings menu allows you to add RSS feeds and get images from there, or add folders from your PC. You can browse your computer and add all sort of directories, Roxio MediaTicker also comes with a search bar for finding certain images.

It's a very nice image viewer that sports an ingenious interface but it could use some more tools and features, together with the option to move the tray's position using just the mouse cursor.
