Copy DVD Movie Now

Copy DVD Movie Now is a DVD backup solution that supports both NTSC and PAL DVD movies.

DVD backup tools are generally more complex products and require advanced computer knowledge, but Copy DVD Movie Now is clearly a very different project.

The app was developed as a wizard, which means that users who need to successfully back up a disc have nothing else to do than to follow a few simple steps.

First, they are asked to pick the DVD drive to backup, while Copy DVD Movie Now then gives them the option to select the DVD movie file and configure the temporary drive.

The third and the last step requires users to select the VOB files they wish to back up, while Copy DVD Movie Now then takes care of the whole process.

As said, the app can work with both NTSC and PAL formats and is capable of copying all disc content, including menus, subtitles and languages. Of course, most DVD burning devices are supported too.

If there is something to be improved in the next releases, it is definitely the backup engine. You can’t back up a DVD to local drives or to an ISO image and burn the project back to a disk at a later time.

There are only a few configuration options at your disposal, so advanced users may feel a bit disappointed, although simplicity is in most cases greatly appreciated.

All things considered, Copy DVD Movie Now does its job, that’s true, but it clearly needs several improvements in the near future. The best thing is that it’s very, very easy to use.
