Blu-ray to DVD Express

Blu-ray to DVD Express is a small-sized, free and simple application made to help you split Blu-ray movies into several parts and directly burn them across multiple AVCHD DVDs.

It doesn't include rich options or customization preferences, making it suitable for all types of users, whether they have previous experience with this type of software or not.

Installing Blu-ray to DVD Express is a fast and easy task that shouldn't impose any difficulties, thanks to the fact that it shows only familiar options.

Once finished, you are welcomed by a small window with a slightly unusual look that's easy to get around. It shows a large button in the middle of the frame for immediately starting the Blu-ray ripping procedure. Just make sure you have a disc inserted into the PC unit.

All you have to do is select the size of the DVD disc between DVD5 (4480MB) and DVD9 (8100MB). There are no other notable options available here. You should know that the tool is not capable of decrypting Blu-ray movies, so you'll need another application for handling that kind of task.

The tool left a small footprint on system performance in our tests, thanks to the fact that it required low CPU and RAM to work properly. It didn't hang, crash or show error dialogs. On the other hand, Blu-ray to DVD Express has a poor set of customization features available. However, we must take into account that it hasn't been updated for a long time.
