DVD ReBuilder Free

DVD ReBuilder is a small-sized and portable piece of software designed to help you back up your DVD movies in case you lose or misplace the original discs. It uses CinemaCraft Encoder Basic/SP, QuEnc (FFmpeg) encoder and ReJig transcoder engine.

As there is no setup pack involved, you can save the program files to a custom directory on the disk and just click the executable to run. Another possibility is to save DVD ReBuilder to a USB flash drive or another removable storage unit, to be able to launch it on any PC directly.

More importantly, the tool does not modify Windows registry settings or create extra files on the disk, thus leaving it clean after removal.

The GUI is user-friendly, based on a single window with a plain and simple structure, where you can specify the DVD movie source path, working and output directory, as well as examine the video title sets and pick the audio and subtitle streams that you want to preserve for the backed up files.

Batch processing is supported, which means that multiple files can be backed up at the same time. What's more, the computer can be set to immediately shut down on task completion.

Before processing with the backup operation, you can select the mode between CCE, HC Encoder, ReJig, QuEnc, ProCoder or no compression, get space from extras, ignore warning prompts, change the background color, and so on.

There were no stability issues in our tests since DVD ReBuilder did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. It has a good response time to commands and carries out backup jobs rapidly while remaining light on system resources.
