DVD Ripper Premium

DVD Ripper Premium is a simple-to-use application which allows you to convert DVDs to multiple formats, including AVI and MPG. It can be handled by individuals of all levels.

The interface of the program is plain and easy to work with. You can import a DVD, IFO or VOB file by using the file browser or treeview only, since the "drag and drop" method is unsupported. Batch processing is allowed.

In the queue you can read the output and IFO name, number of chapters and time of the DVD. Once you specify the output profile and directory, you can proceed with the encoding job.

You can configure audio and video settings when it comes to the frame rate, deinterlace filter, luminance, volume, MUX rate, VBR buffer and others.

On top of that, you can select the index, audio stream, subtitle language, angle and zoom mode, split clips by size, remove an item from the list, as well as preview videos during conversion.

The DVD processing tool runs on a moderate-to-high amount of system resources, has a good response time, takes reasonable time to complete a task and manages to keep a good image quality. However, numerous errors popped up during our testing and DVD Ripper Premium failed to convert the audio stream in all of our cases. We strongly recommend you look for something more advanced than DVD Ripper Premium.
