The interface of the tools is clean and pretty intuitive. Video clips can be imported into the queue by using either the file browser, treeview or "drag and drop" method. Batch processing is allowed.

In the list you can check out the name, format, duration, output profile and size, along with status of each video. Once you specify the destination folder and file type, you can proceed with the encoding task.

Moreover, you can change audio and video properties when it comes to the size, bit rate, frame rate, aspect ratio, encode mode, sample frequency rate, channel mode, volume and others. Optionally, you can disable the audio stream.

You can preview clips in a small, built-in media player and capture frames, split videos by size, time or DVD chapters, select the audio language and subtitle track, customize the CPU core number in use, hide unidentifiable items from the list, view a log window, enable the tool to run in the background in normal priority mode, set post-task actions (e.g. exit program, shutdown computer), calculate the bit rate, and more.

The programs need a high amount of system resources, support multiple languages and skins for the interface, have a good response time, quickly finish a task and keep a good image and sound quality in the output videos.
