Wise DVD Creator

Wise DVD Creator is a program with a pretty suggestive title - it allows you to create DVDs from video files of different formats, including AVI, MOV, MP4 and FLV.

The interface of the application is clean and easy to work with. You can select the output format (DVD, SVCD or VCD disc) and import video clips into the list by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is allowed.

You can select the image ratio and add a letterbox, as well as preview clips in a small, built-in media player and cut them by marking the start and end position, take snapshots and view file properties (e.g. frame rate, resolution).

You can adjust the conversion engine, set the working folder, output TV system type and split size, select the burner device and disc label, as well as check out two progress bars for conversion and burning. You can convert videos to MPEG. During the conversion task you can check out the total and remaining time, frames per second and a log file.

The DVD processing software requires a moderate-to-high amount of system resources, contains a well-written help file with snapshots, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a good image and sound quality after conversion (although it could had been better). No errors have occurred during our tests. We strongly recommend Wise DVD Creator to all users.
