If you generally have a lot on your plate and want to manage your time more efficiently, then a task manager could go a long way. Not only does such a tool help with management, but it can also help you prioritize your tasks and even motivate you at times.

Counties is a straightforward tool that provides an interesting take on task and time management by providing a countdown of your to-dos in a sleek and user-friendly interface.

The app comes with an intuitive interface and you can get started by clicking on the big ‘plus’ button located in the lower right area of the UI. To add a new task, you solely need to specify a few details, more precisely the name, due date and time and, optionally, details. You can also choose a color for the task to make it more distinguishable in the calendar.

Speaking of the calendar, the app includes one where you preview upcoming tasks, as well as add a new one using the same method described above. It is worth mentioning that the calendar is limitless and you can add events for the years to come.

Once you are done setting up the tasks, the app will display a widget that you can move around and place in any desired location on your desktop. In case you find it too distracting, then go to Settings and make it less transparent. Alternatively, configure it to be on top of all other windows, in case you have upcoming deadlines.
