Desktop Alarm Clock

Desktop Alarm Clock is a program you can use to schedule multiple events in a calendar, customize a clock, and use a stopwatch. It features many customization settings.

The installer takes minimal time and effort, since there are no special options or third-party offers involved. However, you must have .NET Framework. Although this isn't indicated anywhere, the tool gets automatically integrated into the Windows autostart sequence after setup.

It creates an icon in the systray and startup that facilitates access to the calendar view, events, stopwatch, time zones, and program options.

An analog clock with a digital display mode is displayed in a multi-colored circular frame and synced to the system time. Its right-click menu presents the same options we previously mentioned.

The calendar view is made from a large window that lets you navigate the calendar by days, months and years, as well as create events by specifying the alarm, date and time, hour and minute, along with the action between notification or command execution, like opening a file or a web URL.

After creating multiple events, you can filter them in the calendar by action type, export information to RTF or TXT files, or print it. The list with all scheduled events can be inspected in a separate area.

You can use a standard stopwatch with start, stop and reset buttons, change the timezone, make the clock stay on top of other windows, and customize a wide range of settings when it comes to its appearance, such as background image, digital time color, alarming interval, size, font, hands, markers, hotkeys, or center point.

Desktop Alarm Clock contains rich options for scheduling events and personalizing a desktop clock. However, it's not intuitive for inexperienced users.
