Egg

Egg is a lightweight software application able to measure how much time you spend doing different activities. It comes packed with sound notifications and a countdown timer which can be moved to any area of the desktop.

The program boasts a clean and intuitive interface that allows users to count up or down and specify the time interval (days, hours, minutes and seconds). Egg is able to count from one second up to 45 days and displays up to four timers at once.

When it comes to customizing the looks of the countdown timer, it is possible to change the background color and pick a font style, color and size for the time values. For a better focus on your work, you may switch to a full screen mode or adjust the window’s size.

Egg offers support for sound notifications, and you can upload your own audio files. You can make the program play songs from the specified location randomly, run a file, or play three warning beeps before the time is up.

The alarm sound can be repeated at a specified time interval and you can add text messages for each notification.

Egg features a chess mode which enables users to work with two timers in the same time, each one having its own name, time, color and alarm sound.

Other important features worth mentioning give you the possibility to activate the transparency mode and adjust the level, make the program stay on top of other apps, mute sounds, and select a hotkey for the start or stop options.
