FN Clock

FN Clock is a tiny analog clock that comes bundled with several features, such as setting an alarm and multiple reminders.

This software tool is non-obtrusive as it goes in the system tray from the first launch. Aside from that, the interface is pretty easy to handle, for type of user, be they experienced or not.

Right-clicking on the analog clock, brings up a context menu which contains all the actions available in throughout the utility. To be more precise, it is possible to set up a quick reminder to display a message, in a user-defined period of time or at a specified hour.

An alarm clock can be activated to wake you up, the program can be set up to perform a particular action at a specified time, such as opening a file, turning off or restating the computer.

You can also open up a calendar of the current month, a calculator and a time synchronizer. The latter displays the system and the atomic time, and can only be launched with administrator rights.

From the settings panel you can activate the keyboard shortcuts, change the clock’s skin, and change the alarm sound with others provided by the developers or uploading a WAV file from the hard drive. You can also make the app stick to the edges of the screen, force it to always stay on top, run at Windows start up and hide under the mouse cursor.

To sum up, FN Clock proves to be an efficient piece of software through minimal usage of CPU and memory, good response time, user-friendly interface and feature-rich environment. We did not detect any errors, crashes or bugs in our tests.
