FRSStopwatch

There are times when tracking how much time you spend on an activity is very important, and FRSStopwatch is one of the most straightforward solutions you could find.

As soon as you install this on your computer, you can access its minimalist GUI, where you can effortlessly start the timer, then stop or pause it.

You can also resize the window by using the mouse to drag its lower right corner to the dimensions you prefer. This way, the window can become easily visible even from a distance.

Unfortunately, FRSStopwatch does not pack any additional settings you can customize to your liking.

For example you cannot change colors to make them blend in smoothly with your currently installed OS theme or to make them stand out and be easier to read by the visually impaired.

Moreover, there is no way to add laps or to keep a history of any previous uses for later analysis.

Instead, what you can do it copy the current value to the clipboard using the well-known CTRL+C keyboard shortcut, then paste it to a document of your choosing. Obviously, this means that users who are not accustomed to using hotkeys will not be able to benefit from this function, as there is no dedicated button for it within the main window of the application.

In a nutshell, FRSStopwatch is a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) software utility, meaning that all its features are functions are displayed in the main window and are within reach.

Beginners are bound to appreciate the minimalism of the app, whereas more experience users will likely look for applications that include a wider range of customization options, so that they can adapt its appearance and functionality to their necessities.
