Fox's Alarm Clock

Fox's Alarm Clock is a simple application you can use to schedule an alarm clock. It can play any preferred song when time's up to draw your attention while working or studying, or to wake you up.

The tool features just a couple of intuitive options that can be easily configured, even by those with no previous experience in alarm clock utilities.

Fox's Alarm Clock is packed in a single executable file and doesn't require installation. You can copy this .exe anywhere on the disk or to a thumb drive and effortlessly launch the program on any computer. There are no software requirements involved.

As far as the interface goes, the tool adopts a small window with a straightforward layout, which shows the current time in digital format. It gets synced to the system clock.

Click the "Menu" button to view all options available. You can specify the exact time you want to trigger the alarm (in hours, minutes and seconds, 12-clock format) and select any audio file to play, as long as it has the MP3, WAV, MID, AU or SND extension.

Next, you can click "On" and send the main window to the system tray, in order to carry on with your typical PC activity and get notified by the audio file when time's up. No messages are shown on the desktop to draw your attention, so make sure your speakers or headset is operational.

It's also possible to integrate Fox's Alarm Clock into the Windows startup sequence, so it gets launched automatically every time you turn on your computer.

Although Fox's Alarm Clock hasn't received updates for a while, we didn't have any trouble getting it to work on Windows 10 in our tests. It can be seamlessly used as an event reminder that plays your favorite music. Too bad that it doesn't give you the possibility to manage multiple alarms.
