GTD Timer

Timers and countdowns can be used for a wide variety of purposes, such as to measure your work session duration or to keep a tight schedule. You can also use them to properly manage your time and obtain the most out of your day.

GTD Timer is a software utility designed to aid you keep track of your schedule, by using countdowns, stopwatches and alarms to separate your activities into well-defined sections. In order to achieve this, you can choose between a wide range of available time management presets, such as the two-minute “Getting Things Done” method, or the Pomodoro work and break sessions.

To keep you in the loop, the application displays a small, transparent window with the countdown, which can be set up to remain on top of all the other programs, or hidden in the background in case it distracts you. It does, however, alert you when the timer runs out, thanks to the customizable alarm sounds that you can manually choose from your computer.

If you want to know exactly how you spent your time and what presets you used during a work day, GTD Timer can generate in-depth time reports, detailing the duration of every countdown and their exact hour and date. These reports can then be exported to your computer in CSV or HTML format for further analysis.

Although the included presets are made after the official models, you can edit them to better fit your needs by increasing or decreasing the time limit and adding custom text messages to be displayed when the timer runs out. You can add personalized alarm sounds and actions, such as MS-DOS commands to be executed after the countdown is over.

GTD Timer comes with a large number of customization options and a wide variety of built-in time management presets to change the way you organize your day.
