Alarm Clock

Alarm Clock is a small-size utility that gives you the possibility to schedule an alarm clock to go off at a specific time. It doesn't have rich options or configuration properties, making it ideal for users with little or no previous experience in this type of software.

The installation operation doesn't take long, thanks to the fact that there are no special options or third-party offers bundled with the setup kit. However, you must have .NET Framework, since it was developed with the help of this platform, which belongs to Microsoft.

As far as the interface is concerned, the application adopts a standard .NET Framework form and doesn't put any kind of emphasis on appearance. In fact, it looks rudimentary, as if Alarm Clock remained an unfinished project in Computer Science class.

All you have to do is set the alarm time by inputting the numbers or clicking on two arrows, while keeping in mind that time is shown in 12-hour clock format.

Moreover, it enables you to pick a local file with the MP3 format and set it as the audio alert. The alarm can be activated with one click and just as easily deactivated if you change your mind. There are no other notable options available here.

Although it hasn't been updated for a long time, it worked smoothly on newer Windows versions in our tests, without triggering the OS to hang, crash or display error messages. We haven't come across any stability issues. Plus, it used a low amount of CPU and memory to work properly, so it didn't hamper the overall performance of the machine.

On the other hand, Alarm Clock has a very light set of features and its interface needs a makeover in the graphical department. Nevertheless, the app's easy to use and gets the job done.
