JobTimer

JobTimer is a lightweight software application whose purpose is to help you find out how much time you invest in different activities with the aid a stopwatch. In order to run the program correctly and avoid bumping into all sorts of errors, you need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 on the target computer.

The tool is portable so you can opt for dropping it on pen drives or other similar devices so you can have it with you all the time. Plus, you may open without having to apply administrative privileges. You may run it directly from the storage device.

Gaining access to its interface can be done by double-clicking on the executable file because you do not have to go through an installation process.

The utility creates a few additional configuration files which are stored in the same directory where the executable file is kept. The DAT file saves the x and y coordinates of the tool’s place on the desktop, while the plain text item acts as a log and keeps track of date and time details after each exit.

You do not need to appeal to third-party uninstallers to get rid of JobTimer. A simple deletion task of the files that you have grabbed from the Internet and configuration items does the job.

You are welcomed by a minimalist design that has only a few configuration settings to offer. A help manual is not included in the package. However, you can manage to set up the timer on your own because the dedicated parameters look easy to work with.

You may start, pause, or resume the timer using simple clicks. Tests have pointed out that JobTimer carries out tasks quickly. On the downside, it has not been updated for a long time so you may come across all sorts of bugs on newer operating systems like Windows 10 and 8.
