Job Timer

There are a lot of things to do during a day, and you might find yourself not being able to perform them all. Luckily, you can work to improve performance, and this doesn’t really require a lot of effort. For instance, knowing how long it takes to finish specific tasks helps you get a better idea of performance, and this can be done with Job Timer.

On the bright side of things, Job Timer can be used regardless of the computer you’re working on, directly from a thumb drive, since it doesn’t require installation to function. Tasks can be saved and carried around, while application runtime doesn’t affect the health status of the target PC, because registry entries remain intact.

As far as the visual design is concerned, the application bundles together all functions inside an intuitive window frame. Most of the space is a table which displays all created tasks, with the upper toolbar acting as the creation section, while the status bar holds functions to save different sets of details.

There’s a sample task already added to help you get an idea of how things work. Note, however, that you can’t edit existing items, but it’s easy enough to delete and create a new one. Only a name is required, and there’s also an additional option through which to assign notes to tasks, in case more details are needed.

All tasks are saved, and it’s also possible to start the timer for more items at a time, and even pause. You can choose to export a list of all tasks and details under the TXT format, or just the timers so they’re not discarded on application exit.

To sum it up, Job Timer surely looks like a straightforward task timer, but it manages to get the job properly done. Multiple tasks can be tracked at a time, with options to include additional details, and export the list to generate reports on the long run.
