Timer

Timer is an ultra-simplistic Java-based utility whose only purpose is to keep track of time by counting down. It does not contain complicated features or configuration parameters, making it suitable for all types of users, whether they have previous experience with software applications or not.

The installation procedure takes little time to finish and requires minimal supervision. Its interface is user-friendly, represented by a small window with a plain and simple structure.

The "what you see is what you get" principle clearly applies to the tool, since there are no other options available, apart from the ones visible in the main frame.

All you have to do is specify the number of hours, minutes and seconds for the countdown, as well as click a button to start it. The remaining time is shown in the bottom part of the screen, and it is possible to pause the timer as well as to reset it. Once it expires, the app pops up a message and informs you of this. There are no other noteworthy options available here.

We have not come across any type of issues in our tests, since Timer did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. It is very responsive to commands and works smoothly, without triggering Windows to hang, crash or pop up error messages. As expected, it runs on low CPU and RAM, so it does not put a strain on the computer's performance.

Although it does not integrate richer settings and customization options, Timer provides users with a very simple and effective method to counting down hours, minutes and seconds, and it can be handled by anyone with great ease.
