Simple Alarm Clock

Simple Alarm Clock is an easy-to-use software application that gives you the possibility to schedule an alarm clock to go off at sharp time by opening a file, playing an audio track, or launching an URL in Internet Explorer. It doesn't require installation and contains just a few basic options that can be quickly figured out by anyone.

You can drop the program files in any part of the hard disk or on a USB flash drive, in order to directly run Simple Alarm Clock on any computer, without having to install anything beforehand. Just keep in mind that it needs Internet Explorer if you want to ask the tool to visit a website. Moreover, it doesn't change your Windows registry configuration.

The user-friendly interface is represented by a small window with a plain and simple structure, where you can set an alarm time in hours, minutes and seconds, in either the AM or PM mode.

You can indicate a file to open, such as an MP3 audio file to play, or the address of a website to open in Internet Explorer. Before activating the alarm you can test it to make sure it works. If there's no file specified when enabling the alarm, the utility will open its location in Windows Explorer.

There were no stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that the software application didn't hang, crash or prompt error messages. It had minimal impact on the machine's performance, running on low CPU and RAM.

Although it doesn't integrate richer options and customization preferences, Simple Alarm Clock offers a straightforward and effective solution to setting an alarm clock at an exact time and opening a file or launching a webpage.
