Timer

Timer is a tool you can use to set up a simple countdown timer to keep track of remaining time until an important event, whether you have to make a phone call, send an email, talk with a friend, or perform another type of task. It features options for pausing and resetting the timer.

The entire package consists of just one .exe file. Installation isn't necessary, meaning that you can copy Timer anywhere on the hard disk and just double-click the file to launch the app, as well as copy it to a USB flash drive to directly run it on any PC without having to install anything.

The interface is represented by a small panel that asks you to set the time to any value between 1 and 99 minutes. This can be done by clicking inside the box and typing the number on your keyboard or by clicking the up and down arrow buttons to increase and decrease the current number. The application can be minimized to the taskbar. While it's counting down time, you can carry on working on your computer without distractions. When time's up, you'll be interrupted by the main app window, which gets automatically restored to the desktop and turns red to indicate the alert.

However, there is no audio cue available to draw your attention, and there is no option integrated for writing personalized messages. During the countdown, you can restore the window from the taskbar to view remaining time, as well as pause or reset the timer. But there are no other useful options implemented into this software tool.

Timer is designed as nothing more than a simple and straightforward countdown timer.
