Extract icons or cursor images from EXE or DLL files with ease, avoiding the use of complicated programs or other expensive solutions #Icon Grabber #Icon Viewer #Icon Extractor #Icon #Grabber #Viewer
BeCyIconGrabber is a simple application that pretty much spells its purpose right from the start. It's true that the market is saturated with this type of programs, yet each has its own particularities like in this case. You can extract cursor images from DLLs as well as icons from the more easily known EXE files. Operating this app is just as simple.
Navigate to the directory containing the cursor or icon you want to extract, double click it, and you should already be able to extract whatever size and variant of the pictogram you need. Once you select your targeted rendition, click the Save button and store the resulting file for later use with whatever project you've got going on.
In terms of speed and accessibility, the app does have a simple interface with clearly-labeled functions. The most interesting is the Favorites tab where you can simply add the files you're bound to search for quite often. Aside from that, the app itself does retain a pretty simplistic aspect and position when compared to its competition. Of course, time has taken its toll on this particular piece of software, even though its functionality hasn't degraded one bit.
