Background Enhanced

Background Enhanced is a simple and practical tool that gives you the possibility to create a background to be taken into account for screenshots.

It enables you to set a custom image or pick a solid color, as well as to adjust the opacity. The app comes bundled with a handful of options that can be easily tinkered with, even if you're not skilled with this type of software.

It's not packed in a setup kit, so you can save the downloaded files anywhere on the computer or copy them to a USB flash drive, in order to directly run the program on any PC.

Just keep in mind that .NET Framework must be installed, since it was developed with the aid of this platform. It doesn't need anything else to run, though, nor does it change Windows registry settings or create files on the disk without asking for your permission.

Regarding the GUI, Background Enhanced has a small configuration panel that shows all options available, enabling you to select a local image from the computer, or to pick a solid color from the color wheel.

When it comes to the image layout, it can either preserve the aspect ratio or stretch the picture, depending on your preferences. Moreover, you can adjust the opacity by moving a slider. The specified photo can be previewed in a small embedded frame during this entire time. Changes are applicable with one click.

No errors popped up in our tests and the application didn't freeze or crash. It left a small footprint on system resources consumption, since it required low CPU and RAM to work properly.
