Blaiz Cursors

Windows may be far from being the perfect operating system: users don't hesitate to state their grievances with the bugs and deficiencies of Microsoft's operating system, but it can't be denied that you're allowed a good bit of freedom to experiment and customize the whole OS to make it fit your preferences.

A very popular way of customizing one's system back in the day was related to cursor personalization. Users would thus be able to modify the color, size, and even have their mouse pointer show an animation. Blaiz Cursors is a collection of cursors of different colors and sizes — some static, some animated — that can change the look of your mouse pointer.

In case you're confused on how to go about "installing" these custom cursors, navigate to your Mouse Pointer settings, go to Additional Mouse Settings, and go to the Pointers tab. You'll then be able to change your cursor by clicking Browse, and picking the one that's right for you.

There may only be five available colors, but each of them comes in lots of different variants, each with a different shade. You won't exactly be starved of choice in such a situation: it's more likely that the sheer number of shades might overwhelm you.

These cursors all come in different sizes, too, so you can have a small or big cursor — or something in-between — of your preferred shade.
