When you spend a lot of hours at the office or you are approaching a deadline and you need to work more than usual, you might start missing your family or loved ones. Having a photo nearby can come in handy, and placing a digital one on your desktop is a discreet gesture that can go unnoticed by your colleagues. DeskPic can help you achieve this task.

The application does not require you to install it on the host computer, so you can simply store it on your USB flash drive and launch whenever you want.

Simply put, the utility adds a new icon in the system tray, and right-clicking it will provide you with access to DeskPic’s settings. Since it is basically an AutoHotkey script, you can pause it with a single mouse click, then restart it just the same.

You will only need to select an image, then adjust its size as you see fit - it comes with several sliders and as soon as you drag one of them with your mouse, the chosen picture will be altered accordingly.

More precisely, you can adjust its transparency level, to ensure it does not disturb you while working, or you can modify the corner radius so as to turn it into a round image from a rectangle or square one.

Moreover, if you decide to stick with the initial rectangle shape, you can also enhance the image with a thin or large frame, depending on your preferences.

DeskPic can discreetly enhance your desktop by adorning it with any image you choose, while also allowing you to modify its appearance as you like. The app is freeware so you can enjoy its features for as long as you wish.
