There’s an option which makes it sit on top of every other window, just so it never goes out of focus, allowing for accurate measures, regardless of the elements on screen. It’s also possible to run multiple instances of the application, in case you need multiple rulers on screen.

In conclusion, JK Ruler is a practical application to use if you’re planning to build accurate desktop or program elements. Multiple instances of the program can be active at a time in case you want to measure different parts of an element, while portability adds the flexibility you need.
