Live Christmas Globe

Live Christmas Globe is a small software application developed specifically for helping you place an animated Christmas globe on your desktop that shows the numbers of days left until Christmas or New Year.

You can store the utility on pen drives or other removable devices so you can carry it with you all the time. Plus, you may run it without having to apply administrative privileges directly from the storage device.

You do not need to go through an installation process in order to gain access to the GUI. A double-click on the executable file does the job. It does not populate your Windows registry with extra entries and create additional configuration items so you may get rid of it with a simple deletion task of the EXE file that you have downloaded from the Internet.

You can run multiple instances of the application at the same time and on the same computer. Right-clicking on the Christmas globe allows you to check out the available configuration settings. What’s more, you can move the globe to the desired desktop position. The tool sports an animated layout which shows a winter scene with houses in the background, firs, as well as snowflakes. The number of days until Christmas or New Year is displayed at the bottom of the globe.

Live Christmas Globe gives you the possibility to adjust the speed of the animation (e.g. slow, normal, fast), count down the number of days until Christmas, Julian Christmas, or New Year, show or hide snow, adjust the transparency of the globe, and keep the main window on top of other panels.
