See Sharp

See Sharp is a lightweight and portable piece of software with a very simple functionality: it shows a magnification window on the screen to help you spot specific objects on the screen easier, particularly useful if you don't have regular zooming options at hand. It sports several customization options concerning the aspect, and they can be modified even by users with little or no experience in such software.

As there is no setup pack involved, you can save the executable file to any part of the hard disk and just click it to run, as well as copy See Sharp to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit to carry it with you wherever you go and run the tool on any PC directly, without any other installers.

An important aspect worth taking into account is that See Sharp does not modify Windows registry settings or create additional files on the disk, thus leaving no traces once it is removed.

The interface is represented by a small, circular frame that resembles an actual magnifier, as well as a system tray icon created at startup that provides quick access to the settings panel.

The glass can be moved to any position on the desktop by just dragging it with the mouse. It stays on top of other frames and shows the current mouse position zoomed in. As far as settings go, it is possible to change the border width, alpha and color, lens size and zoom level, as well as to hide the cursor from the center of the magnifier, and set See Sharp to follow the cursor's movements (instead of fixed position).

There were no kind of issues in our tests, since the app did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. It is highly responsive to commands and runs on low CPU and memory, so it does not affect the overall performance of the machine.
