If you are using a notebook, then managing multiple application windows usually entails using various windows adjustment tools to optimize your workspace. An alternative to make the most of the little space available is to consider making some of the application windows transparent. Stealth is a simple, lightweight utility that allows you to change the transparency of all active windows without too much hassle.

The program is portable, so download, decompress and access the executable to get started. The app comes with a minimalistic, single-window interface that displays a list of the current active windows. You can change the transparency for any of them using the dedicated slide bar and the effects are visible right away. At the same time, you can set the one you are mainly using on top.

It goes without saying that the on top application can be changed as necessary. At the same time, keep in mind that if you are opening or closing various windows while working, you can use the refresh button to get a new list of the active programs. The transparency for the previous ones is maintained, but you will need to adjust it accordingly for any new app windows. On a side note, there is a details button for each app window, but we’re not sure what it does.

Lastly, it is worth mentioning that the tool comes with some filters that may be useful in various situations. From the upper section of the interface, you can enable show closed windows and show empty tile windows.
