Verschwindibus

Most applications present their set of features through well-designed windows, but working with too many of them on a single monitor can become frustrating. Sure enough, Windows lets you use the Snap feature, which arranges a window based on screen edges, but there are more reliable applications like Verschwindibus with a lot more flexibility.

Among the last steps of the installer, you get the chance to launch the application to check out its set of features. A pretty compact window shows up, with a dual-pane to display visible and hidden windows, as well as an upper toolbar with necessary controls. The application also holds an option to quickly toggle the visibility of desktop icons. As mentioned, it can be sent to the tray area. This icon is equipped with neat menus you can use to toggle the visibility of individual windows or all of them at once, in case you don’t fancy using hotkeys or the main window.
