Configure wallpaper change interval, and create your custom list of pictures to use, and make them rotate as soon as you reach the desktop with this lightweight app #Wallpaper Changer #Change Wallpaper #Desktop Wallpaper #Wallpaper #Changer #Change
Computer customization is probably one of the first activities performed after a fresh install of Windows. It starts off with basic things, like changing icons, and background pictures, and if the default method of changing your wallpaper isn’t quite your cup of tea, then Wallpaper Manager might be able to neatly sort things out.
One cool advantage is that you don’t have to go through an installer to make it run, so you can pack it along with a collection of pictures to have them used directly from a thumb drive on both your work, and home computers. What’s more, it makes no changes to system registry entries, so there’s no need to worry about the stability of the target PC.
All the application has to offer is handled through a slim interface, wrapped around a classic window frame. Elements are clear, and easy to understand, and the built-in navigator helps you easily reach the location of target files you want to use as wallpapers. Drag and drop is not supported, and there’s no alternative method of adding pictures.
However, disappointment starts to kick in as soon as you encounter file support. This is because you can only use one type of pictures, namely BMP. Reaching a folder which contains these files enlists all of them, with the possibility to add them at the press of a button.
Additional options can be used to reset timer, whenever options change, as well as the refresh interval configurable in minutes, and whether or not to run at startup. Sadly, you can’t pick alignment options, and pictures are rotated in the order they’re on the list. These can’t be manually arranged, with no option to pick at random either.
Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Wallpaper Manager is a little underprepared for what it wants to deliver. File support has a considerable impact on overall practicality, while the lack of more visual arrangement options, possibility to pick at random, and more, might make you stick to default enhancement options.
