Computer customization can mean a lot of things, including a simple slideshow of favorite pictures on the desktop background. In fact, most operating system elements can be tweaked to reach a design level resembling an alternate operating system, even though functionality remains the same. Cursors make no exception, with various packs like Win7arrow to change interaction visual style with different desktop, and window elements.

In order for the package to become available, and functional, the target computer needs to be equipped with CursorFX. Integration in this application is a must, since the package can’t run as a stand-alone product. Note that Windows default pointer options can’t be used to apply the style inside the package.

Just like any other package of its kind, Win7arrow benefits from all default customization options CursorFX provides. This can mean changing the hotspot of any type of cursor, configuring animation frame interval, or include custom scripts for more variety.

On the other hand, one can settle for the default configuration of the cursor package, with flicker animations for hotspot areas on each type. Not all cursors are affected, but most common ones are changed, such as standard select, help select, working in background, busy, precision select, text select, handwriting, unavailable, move, hand, button, and several sensible resize areas.
