Deadly Halloween Screensaver

Halloween is here again, just like last year and next year. Regardless of the period in time it’s still a neat way to celebrate autumn and have some fun and candy, have an excuse to wear a silly outfit. In case you’re into decorating and want to use all resources available, Deadly Halloween Screensaver might just be what you need.

As the name clearly points out, this application only comes in handy when your computer is idle, even though the core purpose of a screensaver no longer applies to modern monitors. Even so, displays can be used purely for entertainment and multimedia playback, in which case a screensaver is more than helpful.

The setup process doesn’t keep you busy for a long while, and the Screen Saver Settings panel immediately shows up when done. Deadly Halloween Screensaver is selected as the default item here, but it can easily be changed in case you’re not yet feeling the Halloween spirit. The small preview section neatly provides an example, but you can always check it out in full screen mode through the Preview function.

In terms of what it actually represents, the screensaver uses a combination of black and red, which is just right for a little scary feeling, especially with the lit moon and angry eyes constantly blinking. The background depicts a graveyard from which bats continue to fly away. It’s also equipped with sound.

Needless to say that it benefits from all default screensaver properties, such as the time it takes before it activates, and whether or not to display the logon screen on resume. There are also a couple of built-in settings, namely to mute sound and to enable multi-monitor support.

All things considered, we come to the conclusion that Deadly Halloween Screensaver can come in handy preparing some nifty Halloween decorations if you plan on including your computer in the props set. It’s easy to install, is animated, plays sound, and can run on multiple monitors.
