Earth is our homeland is a lightweight cross-platform utility that displays a three-dimensional image of the Earth planet with stars glowing in the background.

Once you have installed the application, it becomes accessible from the Windows screensaver menu, thus allowing you to set it as the default screensaver and change various settings.

The user interface is really simplistic and gives you the possibility to view general information about the planet, and enable background music.

The lack of configurable parameters can be good news only for the less experienced users, who are not looking for a fully-featured software solution. However, it still needs some improvements, for helping you upload your own audio files, adjust the brightness level for the stars, and pick a background color, just to name a few suggestions.

During our testing we have noticed that the screensaver provides good image quality, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. As it would be expected from such as small application, it remains light on the system resources, so it doesn’t burden computer performance, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality.

To sum things up, Earth is our homeland is a simple desktop enhancement program that comes packed with limited features for helping you animate your screen activity.
