New Year Happiness Screensaver

While screensavers haven’t really been a requirement for a very long time, it is still nice to have something interesting on your monitor when you step away from your desk aside from the boring old desktop.

If you are looking for something holiday-themed, New Year Happiness Screensaver may be what you need. A fairly basic screensaver, in truth, but it can certainly bring some holiday spirit to your desktop, and it comes with a pleasant, if somewhat repetitive soundtrack.

Essentially, what you see in the screenshots is what you get: a mostly red background, some Christmas decorations and a “Happy New Year” message visible in the background. However, it is worth noting that some objects, such as the snowflakes, are also animated.

Sadly, nothing can be customized about the screensaver’s appearance or the behavior of the animated objects, which may be an issue for some users.

The soundtrack is quite pleasant, but there are no alternative tracks if you are not too fond of the music. It can also get repetitive rather quickly, but you can always reduce the volume or mute it altogether.

If you have a multiple monitor setup, you should be happy to learn that this screensaver can be viewed on all of them at the same time. Of course, you can also choose to show it only on certain devices and set the desired resolution for each one.

Overall, this screensaver isn’t particularly impressive, but the graphics are pleasant enough for it to be worth a look. The background music didn’t win us over, but you can always mute it and just play your own tracks. Unfortunately, no customization options are available, so you are stuck with the screensaver’s default look and animations.
