If you are running Windows 10 on your computer, then you probably noticed that you are greeted daily with a new wallpaper. Since some of them are quite nice, it does not come as a surprise that some of you want to save it to set it as desktop wallpaper as well.

As the name suggests, SaveWindows10WallPaper is a tool designed to help you save the daily picture provided by Windows 10 with just one click.

The application is as simple as it gets and since it is portable, you can simply decompress the archive in the desired location and run the executable. The program comes with a console-like interface and immediately saves the current picture of the day in the same folder as the app.

In addition to grabbing the image, the tool also includes an extra option, namely to let the app run forever and hence, grab the pictures every day. At the same time, it provides quick links to the Source and Target directories. In case you do not want to keep it running, you can just quit and repeat the above process every time you want to grab an image.

Unfortunately, the operating system does not offer an easy way to grab these pictures, so your best bet would be to find the location where they are stored on your computer. Providing that you have Windows Spotlight enabled, then you need to make sure that Show Hidden files is on and use the following path to find the picture: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\Assets, where username is your own Windows username.
