The need for file conversions is still present, regardless of the latest advancements in software compatibility, supported formats, and the resulting interoperability that users can achieve these days. Sometimes, simply performing a format conversion to and from a preferred format can be the straightest line. One such dedicated conversion app is HTM2JS, and it was built for addressing the need for migrating HTM, HTML, or TXT format data to JavaScript, with several tweaks available along the way.

When initializing the application for the first time, we immediately noticed the tab array that controls most of its functionality, and we feel that this design choice was adequate. Not only does it improve accessibility, but it also offers a clear overview of the tasks at hand.

Each tab contains a series of controls that enable users to configure multiple options that address the processing itself, as well as the characteristics of the output files themselves.

As stated above, the application features a detailed set of tweaking options for each of the different conversion types: HTML, TXT, JavaScript. General characteristics for the output data can also be adjusted separately.

We appreciated the fact that although numerous settings are provided for each of the different conversion types, the overall complexity is maintained to a minimum, and accessibility is maximized, enabling one to determine the right settings for a given operation easily.

This application addresses those who need a simple and practical tool for migrating HTML data to JavaScript format. In addition to also supporting HTML and TXT as inputs, the application also comes equipped with a detailed configurator for each conversion format.
