Whether it is a hard disk failure, accidental deletion or formatting, a system corruption, a malware attack or any other cause, losing important data is always frustrating, not to mention risky if we are talking about a corporate environment. A specialized data recovery software solution is good to have around and UFS Explorer Network RAID should do the trick for local and LAN-distributed storage.
This edition of UFS Explorer is designed specifically for storage over LAN, providing support for anything between simple storage devices to complex RAID systems. It makes it possible to recover data from any storage device attached to the local or a remote computer in the same network, regardless of the operating system they are running on. Support is provided for standard PCs and laptops, hard disks and USB flash drives, NAS devices and SAN systems, servers, virtual disks, memory cards, digital cameras and RAID sets.
Working with UFS Explorer Network RAID is not difficult, although it is mandatory to be familiar with networking vocabulary. While the GUI and the layout of all the options makes it easy to use, this application is definitely not for beginners or inexperienced users.
The main window displays information about all the partitions (start and end sectors, capacity) and the file system (type, creation time, cluster size), the main storage for the selected disk (type, name, capacity, sectors, and so on), as well as the storage geometry. You can also see the list of logical disks, along with all the connected storage devices detected in the local network.
UFS Explorer Network RAID can operate image files and virtual disks as well, as well as network devices, and local drives. It is compatible with DeepSpar DDI and iSCSI targets.
RAID systems of different complexities are supported, including standard, hybrid or custom configurations. The application is capable of assembling RAID from disks that are connected to any number of machines, while the built-in script handler allows you to set and change RAID configurations.
Working with multi-storage systems poses certain risks related to data loss that an application such as UFS Explorer Network RAID can address. With a user-friendly interface, powerful data recovery capabilities and support for LAN-distributed systems, this application provides a safety net in case of disaster.
