Anti AFK

Anti AFK is as you might have guessed it an application dedicated to avoiding situations where you get kicked out of a video game while not being active long enough.

The application was created for use specifically with Grand Theft Auto Online and is very helpful if you sometimes need to take a break from the game but still want to continue your endeavors in a short period. I often ended up wasting time reconnecting for a 10-minute break, and it became frustrating.

The mechanism behind it is simple. Do keep in mind the app does not work when the game is minimized, although we might see such an update in the future. For the time being, you must leave the game open on your screen.

The next step is to select the appropriate key to have the app activate while in the game and these are the directional keys. W is for moving forward, A for left, S for backward, and D for right. With this in mind, the program works spotless, and it can get you out of the above-mentioned pickle.

What is even better is the fact that the program is portable and does not require any installation. It won't even clog your GTA V installation folder which for me generated even more happiness when using this program.

Simply deploy the application, select the directional button, and let it do its thing while you run to the bathroom or do any similar chore. Once you are back, hitting the Stop button will deactivate any of the previously enabled directional movement functions.

Anti AFK might be simple but at the same time it is also relevant and in my case, this made a great difference between dealing with the recitation of the game every time I had to take a break that was longer than ten or fifteen minutes.
