Apex Legends Tweaks

If you like shooter games, then you probably know Apex Legends. The game has specific system requirements, but you can enhance its overall performance by tweaking its configuration settings. While this can also be done manually, the Apex Legends Tweaks tool allows you to make all the changes from a user-friendly interface.

There is no need to install Apex Legends Tweaks. In fact, the application is ready to use once you run the main executable.

The one-window interface provides one-click access to all the settings, allowing you to easily modify the game parameters. When launched, the application starts searching for the game and its configuration files in the default location of Apex Legends. You might not know exactly what each parameter does and it is quite a shame that the developers of the game did not provide additional explanations, at least when hovering the mouse cursor.

With Apex Legends Tweaks, you get to make changes to the "videoconfig.txt" file in the game, but without having to use the Windows console or a third-party text editor. Its main window displays all the editable parameters and allows you to manually enter values for each. Alternatively, you can select default values or lowest values from the “Options” menu. This latter preset provides the fastest FPS rate for the game.

Clicking on the “Output” button allows you to see the modifications in the right panel. To commit the changes, you simply have to hit the “Save” button. Closing the game before using this application is a must. Otherwise, the changes will not be applied.
