Battle.net Switcher

It is quite common for those who play online games to use more than one account, but switching between them is rarely easy. If you play Blizzard games and need a quick way to move from one account to another, this program might interest you.

Battle.net Switcher is a relatively simple, open-source application that stores all your Battle.net account credentials and allows you to log in to any of them with just a couple of mouse clicks.

Before anything else, you will need to provide the usernames and passwords of all your accounts. You can also specify which is your main account and which of them are alternative ones.

When you double-click an entry, the application opens Battle.net and auto-types your credentials using Autohotkey. The process may take a couple of seconds, and it is wise not to provide additional input for the duration.

Unfortunately, the program cannot be sent to the system tray. If you need to switch between several accounts multiple times during a gaming session, it would be nice to be able to hide the application from the taskbar.

Also, there is no option to have the program start automatically when launching Windows, although you can still do this yourself with just a little know-how.

As far as the user interface is concerned, it is definitely showing its age. It is by no means unintuitive, but it looks like it has not been modernized for some time.

On the whole, Battle.net Switcher can end up saving you quite a bit of time and effort if you switch between multiple accounts frequently. It does need a bit more polish, but it gets the job done, and it is very novice-friendly.
