A fork of the original CrewLink app, BetterCrewLink too deals with proximity chat within the Among Us game. It adds a ton of extra features and fixes whatever issues have plagued the original formula. Although inspired by the similarly-named program, it does manage to create its own identity. At this point, with constant updates on the table, one can only think about what remains to be covered in terms of proximity chat with this app.

The developer provides a clear list of changes that have been brought to the original app formula. These include Windows 7, Linux, and 32bit support, lower CPU usage and more stable connections, support for new and old versions of Among Us, OBS overlay, volume sliders, and overall better mod compatibility. The list is not at all short and includes both new settings as well as smoother functionality.

BetterCrewLink app was designed to help Among Us fans better integrate with their group when playing online, changing the way this game can be played and how one relates to his fellow members while actually competing in this virtual arena.
