Boosteroid is a new cloud gaming service that aims to grant users an accessible way to their favorite games, no matter their system requirements.

Cloud gaming is a bit of a controversial topic, what with Google's Stadia project and its discontinuation. Even so, it nevertheless remains a viable alternative to upgrading your machine, provided a higher latency doesn't bother you.

To benefit from the service, users can sign up for a subscription, which will allow them to leverage the platform's cloud infrastructure. This will enable you to play both free and paid games at 60 FPS, 1080P.

There are no time limits, and thanks to cloud synchronization, you can handily start your game on a computer, then resume on another. You can even do all of those things in your browser, without requiring the app.

It should be noted that the platform simply grants you access to the cloud infrastructure, not the games. Though it includes a selection of free-to-play titles, non-free games require user ownership on a popular storefront such as Steam, Epic, and so on, which will have to be linked with your Boosteroid account.
