Cyberpunk 2077 AMD Ryzen CPU Patch Tool

The developers of the Cyberpunk 2077 game did not optimize it for working on a computer equipped with an AMD Ryzen CPU. On the other hand, machines with Intel CPUs face no compatibility issues. However, there is a workaround to this problem: the so-called Cyberpunk 2077 AMD Ryzen CPU Patch Tool makes it possible to apply a hot fix to the game in order to make it run properly on AMD CPUs.

Keep in mind that there are two editions available, namely one for version 1.05 of the game and the other for version 1.04 and below of Cyberpunk. Please make sure to download the proper edition. Otherwise, the patch might not work.

The overly simplistic main window of the application bundles a confirmation form and two buttons: one for applying the patch and the other for undoing the changes. Since the developers wanted to make this tool as simple as possible, there are no additional menus and options to deal with.

Remember to close the game before using this application. The executable file of the patch tool must be placed in the same folder as the game executable. It is advisable to make a backup copy of the game executable, just to be on the safe side of things.

But what happens once you apply the patch? Well, the code of the “Cyberpunk2077.exe” file is modified and a HEX sequence is replaced. In other words, it hex edits the game’s main executable, which re-enables the SMT for 8 core and above SMT. The original executable file can be restored with the click of a button.
