Ego ERP Archiver is a niche tool. If you're a Codemasters fan, then you're probably going to know what to use this program for. To be more precise, this tool works great with F1 2020, a video game with a pretty big modding fan base. The bottom line? Well, if you want to introduce your own car and driver visual style, you'll have to unpack ERP archives that are used for this and other Codemasters games.

Although it does not look that great, the app is indeed useful. In fact, this tool sports a basic look. It fits with any OS because it doesn't really have an identity of its own. Regardless, the idea is to open any ERP file with this program that will allow you to unpack, extract, import, and reseal any such files. Without it, the user won't have access to change any texture files, and as a result, there won't be much extra content to enrich the game for others.

Well, as far as what you can do with the app goes, it's tied to four basic commands. The first one is an Export All command, which unpacks all textures in the ERP file. The second, Import All, is the reverse of the first one. Export Texture works for one particular file that has been selected within the archive. The same can be said about Import Texture, only that this time it's the reverse, meaning you'll add one particular file to the ERP archive.

Ego ERP Archiver stands at the very base of the F1 2020 modding community and is in the mix for many other apps and games that use the less known ERP archive format for texture storage.
