Enchanted Gamepad

League of Legends is a pretty restrictive game in terms of the control schemes it offers for its players. It's either mouse and keyboard, or nothing at all. While the game lends itself perfectly to that configuration, we all probably thought at least once how everything would be with a controller. With Enchanted Gamepad, players can now use their Xbox controller to play Riot Games' popular MOBA title.

This is pretty much an input bindings software, and due to the way League was built, users will have to write the bindings themselves with Lua. The developer provides a YouTube video to guide users through the process. It may seem daunting, but following the tutorial will get the tool fully up and running.

The interface is quite bare-bones, and it's nothing to write home about: you set the bindings through the Text Editor, verify whether they are pressed through the ControllerView, and run the script. You can then hop into a match and everything will behave as intended.

It should be noted that only Xbox controllers are supported by the program, which means that a Playstation gamepad or anything of the sort will not work.
