Fortnite Tweaks

If you are a Fortnite fan, then you will be glad to find out that there is an application that can easily enhance your gaming experience. Suggestively called Fortnite Tweaks, this lightweight software tool makes it possible for you to change a few game settings, resulting in an FPS boost and thus, a smoother gameplay.

Fortnite Tweaks displays all the settings within its main window, providing one-click access to tweaks related to the system registry, the GPU thread priority and the GPU MSI interrupts. Unfortunately, there are no in-app explanations or a tutorial to help you figure out what the tweaks are, but all are detailed below.

The registry tweaks within the application can only be enabled in batch. It is a shame the application does not allow you to choose which settings to apply. To be more specific, these settings include disabling the game DVR and the FSO globally, setting a normal priority for the Fortnite game, disabling Fullscreen optimization, as well as additional GPU, CPU, network and power tweaks. If you choose to disable them, the game will revert to the normal FSO globally, the game DVR will be turned on and all the GPU and CPU tweaks will be canceled.

The next category is related to AMD and NVidia thread priority for the Fortnite game. With this setting turned on, you should see a visible change during gameplay. Last but not least, disabling the GPU MSI interrupts results in line-based interrupts for the GPU and the IRQ device priority reverted to normal.

Fortnite Tweaks also provides one-click access to a cache cleaner, which removes tenporary files, cookies, history, event logs and a few more items to make your PC run smoother. It allows you to quickly launch the Disk Cleanup utility of Windows.

Please keep in mind that the Fortnite game should not be running while using Fortnite Tweaks. It is highly advisable you create a restore point before applying the changes. A system restart is mandatory for the changes to take effect. Then and only then you can run the game again.
