Whether you’re an avid gamer or not, having the ability to work on your gameplay characters must have crossed your requirements at least once, and although there are many variations out there, it’s always nicer to have your own take on your favorite character. Having added the required skin and other relevant characteristics in third-party apps, users will then have to import the characters back into the gameplay. In Fortnite, one can do so by relying on dedicated graphics processing suites, such as Blender or Unreal engine.
FortnitePorting, just as its name aptly suggests, is an application that was created specifically in order to allow users to automate the porting process of their characters toward Blender and Unreal Engine.
Aside from ensuring that their system features .NET Runtime 6.0, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package, and at least Blender installed, users also need to deploy the archive in a read/write permission directory.
In Blender, users will be able to identify and install the corresponding porting add-on but will have to do so without previously extracting the archive, after which a restart of Blender will be required in order for the add-on to deploy and for the chances to take effect.
