Game Saves Backup

Game Saves Backup is quite a simple application to understand and deal with. As its name suggests, it was created to help the user create backups of save files for any game out there. Of course, it won't work with games that save online in a cloud-type storage. It's a smart system that requires a bit of skill seeing as it does not operate without the Windows Terminal, but it does the job and manages to create one save backup and then keep another extra for safety purposes.

Most individuals would love an app like this to include a GUI but since it deals with the Windows Terminal, it can be easier to deploy and in the end, provided you know how to work with the command-line tool, it could also prove easier to handle too. I found it to be quite straightforward and on account of this felt the whole experience was helpful and easy to deal with.

The application will require the user to input a path for the save file in question. This way it will know where to look and what to duplicate for safekeeping. Some adjustments should be made via the settings.conf file, where the user will have to input some additional guiding lines for the app to work as intended.

Initially, I was tempted to dismiss this program on account of it not having a lot of features but then came to realize that maybe it is better to work with a simple application as these tend to concentrate on the matter at hand and not split their goal into hundreds of others while including irrelevant functions that the user will not really find helpful.

With Game Saves Backup, the message is quite simple. You launch it to deal with creating game save file backups. That's about it. Noting more and nothing less.
