If you are a fan of the Another Metroid 2 Remake (AM2R) fan-made game, then you already know that it was taken down by Nintendo due to copyright issues. While the game can only be found in emulation modes nowadays, it is important to note that using illegally obtained ROMs is still considered copyright infringement.

Glenn is a tool designed for the legal copies of the game and has the role of facilitating the porting of the Windows builds to other platforms. The developer points out that the tool doesn’t work with the original 1.1 version or the YYC modes of the game. It solely works with modified versions of AM2R game that have been modified by you or the members of the community. The later version received some bug fixes and updates, but have been build using the virtual machine version of the game.

As far as functionality goes, first you need to make sure that you create a ZIP archive of the self-created mod. On a side note, for GameMaker: Studio you can use the archive directly, whereas for UndertaleModTool, you will need to create a ZIP yourself.

Afterward, simply added to the dedicated field in the app so that you can create ports for Linux, Android and Mac. The tool will make a new ZIP that you can find in the same directory as the application that can be used with specialized tools, such as Atomic.
