KingdomSaveEditor is advertised as a general-purpose video game save editor. Although it deals with a solid list of titles, one can't really edit all types of saved files. Based on the name and provided list of games, this application is centered on editing Kingdom Hearts game saves, with a few notable exceptions. The application features all imaginable adjustments and is quite efficient on more than one particular gaming platform.

In order to understand this program's purpose beyond its given meaning, one must check the compatible game list situated on the developer's page. From Kingdom Hearts I to III, and all other titles from this collection, there is nothing stopping you from gaining those extra perks for easier progression or 100% completion. Do keep in mind that this program also works well with Final Fantasy VII Remake and Persona 5 titles.

In terms of compatible platforms, one can edit PC, PlayStation and 3DS save. Do keep in mind that as far as Sony's consoles are concerned, you can work with anything between the PS2 and PS4. PS5 saves are not supported, and it does not seem like there will be any further adjustments at this point.

The program itself is quite easy to navigate. Of course, you'll have to know a bit about the game you are trying to adjust through its save file if you want to add the right perks to your list. All options are divided into categories that deal with characters, money, difficulty, and shortcuts.

Each particular section has one or more subsections that can be adjusted for an easier in-game experience. Inventory items can be added or removed, depending on what one might desire. Last, but not least, player stats can be equally changed to fit any particular requirements.
